Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Deep Learning Software Engineer to help develop simulation infrastructure for evaluating AI workloads across GPU hardware and software stacks.

The candidate will develop scalable simulation backends, improve MLIR-based compiler optimizations, and collaborate with architecture and software teams to guide future GPU features and system-level design decisions. Knowledge of C/C++ and Python is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent in CS/CE or STEM; PhD preferred.
• 3+ years in compiler optimization or architectural simulation.
• Strong hands-on experience with MLIR and compiler infrastructure.
• Excellent C/C++ and Python programming skills, including design, debugging, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation backends for fast, scalable evaluation of AI workloads across NVIDIA compiler stacks.
• Improve deep learning compiler kernel code generation and graph optimization based on modeled scenarios and performance insight.
• Advance modeling and optimization of datacenter-scale AI workloads and deployment scenarios.
• Partner with architects and software teams to evaluate future GPU features and guide silicon and system-level design decisions.
