Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in on- and underwater marine operations.
• 2 years of experience in saturation diving and familiarity with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Experience as a supervisor of research and commercial or military diving activities.
• Certification as Diving Safety Officer or equivalent credentials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Aquarius Reef Base, including life support and diving activities.
• Coordinate dives, inspect equipment, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Act as Habitat Supervisor, Dive Supervisor, and Vessel Captain on selected missions.
• Manage staff and ensure training and adherence to FIU diving policies.
