Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks engineers to contribute to distributed systems and database technology on the Aurora DSQL team.

You’ll design and implement scalable software, focusing on automated operations, global scale, and high availability, while mentoring others and shaping the product alongside senior engineers. You’ll work in a Rust-based environment with CDK for cloud infrastructure, tackling complex problems and delivering high-impact services to AWS customers.

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
