The Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist at the Department of Technology & Information (DTI) leads and coordinates disaster recovery efforts for mission-critical IT environments. You will work with state agencies to develop, test, and implement recovery and continuity plans, ensuring timely restoration of services.
You will train agency staff, conduct risk assessments, and define statements of work, reporting to the Disaster Recovery Coordinator.

The Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist is responsible for assisting State efforts to develop, implement and coordinate disaster recovery plans and tests for all mission-critical IT environments. Specifically, the Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist is responsible for working with State agencies to develop, test, evaluate and implement disaster recovery plans and continuity of operations plans. The Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist will assist in ensuring system and application recovery efforts are accomplished within defined timeframes. In addition, the Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist will train agency personnel on aspects of disaster recovery planning and continuity of operations process. The Senior Disaster Recovery Specialist will report to the Disaster Recovery Coordinator.
Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
