Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Director of Warehouse Operations to lead strategic, multi-site warehousing, inventory, and logistics across our NC network. You will drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence while aligning with manufacturing and quality teams to support customer commitments.

This role requires a track record in GMP environments, global ERP/WMS stewardship, and leading large teams through transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field; MBA/MS preferred.
• 12+ years in supply chain/warehouse ops/logistics in regulated manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading managers/directors across multi-site ops.
• GMP-regulated warehouse ops, inventory, transportation and logistics exp.
• Experience implementing operational strategies to improve safety, compliance, service, and cost.
• Strong GMP, GDP, inventory control, traceability, audit readiness knowledge.
• Experience with SAP, WMS/EWM, and related warehouse tech.
• Led large-scale business or system implementation projects.
• Experience budgeting, capex, and cost optimization.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all warehouse, inventory, logistics, and material management operations.
• Develop and coach multi-site leadership teams with a focus on safety and accountability.
• Own performance metrics across safety, compliance, inventory accuracy, service levels, and cost.
• Establish governance for warehouse ops and inventory management, including controls and audit readiness.
• Lead capacity planning, network optimization, and workforce strategy to support growth.
• Spearhead warehouse technology and digital transformation, including SAP and WMS/EWM.
• Oversee transportation, 3PLs, freight optimization, and cold-chain operations.
• Drive enterprise initiatives for productivity and risk reduction, focusing on cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, IT to align capabilities.
• Represent supply chain in audits, regulatory inspections, and strategic planning.
