Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Senior Director, TSMS to provide technical leadership for the monoclonal antibody portfolio and support the expanding product pipeline. Based at the Elwood, KS manufacturing facility, this role oversees the TSMS function, budget, and talent development to ensure compliant, scalable manufacturing operations.

The role requires 15+ years in regulated manufacturing with 10+ years in leadership and 5+ years in mAb development/manufacture; travel is expected around 10% and onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a biomanufacturing related discipline (e.g. biology, chemistry, engineering).
• 15+ years in a regulated, commercial manufacturing environment with 10+ years in leadership.
• 5+ years in development and/or manufacture of monoclonal antibody products.

Responsibilities

• Lead all TSMS activities at the Elwood facility and across the mAb network as a global SME.
• Orchestrate technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing with robust validation.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize productivity, gross margin, and capacity.
• Ensure compliance with Elanco Global Quality, cGMP, and HSE standards and maintain product integrity.
• Build and mentor a high-performing TSMS organization and foster regulatory readiness.
