Charter Communications, Spectrum division, is seeking a Senior Director, Procurement to shape and lead our global procurement strategy. You will partner with executive leadership to drive value, optimize resources and build a high-performing team.

The role demands extensive negotiation experience, sophisticated category plans and a track record of delivering cost of ownership benefits while aligning procurement with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience.
• 8+ years of technical and operational procurement experience.
• 5+ years managing and developing employees.
• 3+ years in eProcurement technology (Ariba preferred).
• 5+ years of direct industry or company experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture executive-level relationships within Spectrum and with key suppliers to align business priorities and procurement initiatives.
• Lead the development and execution of commodity-specific sourcing strategies and category plans that span the business.
• Direct and oversee the negotiation and management of strategic enterprise-wide deals, leveraging supplier relationships to maximize value.
• Evaluate supply markets, adopt innovative technologies and optimize business models to generate greater operating efficiencies and business value.
• Develop, monitor and refine departmental processes to centralize procurement activities and ensure effective administration of agreements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects and align procurement efforts with their strategic objectives.
• Mentor and coach procurement team members to foster expertise, professional growth and achievement of department goals.
