Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a PhD-level leader to oversee Safety Pharmacology and Toxicology in discovery and development programs. Qualifications

• PhD in Toxicology or closely related field is required.
• 7+ years in pharma/biotech with CRO management experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidance (ICH, FDA, EMA).
• Strong communication, leadership and presentation abilities.
• Ability to translate data into strategic actions for teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety pharmacology/toxicology program design and interpretation.
• Collaborate with preclinical teams to shape development strategies.
• Ensure timely, regulatory-compliant toxicology deliverables.
• Manage CROs and oversee study planning and execution.
• Communicate findings to management and regulatory bodies.
