Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Management to lead end-to-end RCM during rapid multi-state expansion. You will own billing, collections, A/R, denials, and credentialing while partnering with Finance and Clinical leadership.

We value strategic thinkers who can align billing performance with business growth, improve cash flow, and build scalable operating models across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare revenue cycle management with leadership scope.
• Strong hands-on leadership in delegated credentialing and multi-state payer enrollment.
• Proven success in improving cash collections, reducing denials, and lowering A/R aging.
• Deep expertise with PM/EHR platforms (AthenaHealth, Epic, eCW).
• Experience scaling multi-site healthcare organizations and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own RCM strategy, operating model, and KPIs to maximize collections and clean claim rates.
• Lead end-to-end transformation across billing, denials, A/R, and authorizations.
• Oversee transition to delegated credentialing and payer enrollment.
• Partner with Finance and executives on contracting, reimbursement, and forecasting.
• Optimize EHR/PM tech and vendor SLAs to ensure accountability.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing RCM organization.
