Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an experienced VP / Senior Director of Quality, Compliance & Innovation to lead a unified vertical combining food safety, regulatory compliance, and product R&D. This on-site role reports directly to the COO and oversees SQF/GFSI compliance while driving the commercial product pipeline from concept through scale-up.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in food manufacturing, active SQF/HACCP certifications, and a track record of pairing operational rigor with culinary innovation

Qualifications

• Experience: 10 years in food manufacturing or related field.
• Director-level leadership with Quality & Compliance background.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QC/QA across manufacturing, materials, in-process controls, and finished-goods release.
• Lead SQF Practitioner role; manage audits by GFSI, FDA, USDA, customers, and third parties.
• Oversee HACCP, FSMA Preventive Controls, and food safety plans; ensure audit readiness.
• Drive CAPA, root-cause investigations and continuous improvement on quality KPIs.
• Oversee supplier quality, vendor approvals, COA reviews, and raw material specs.
• Ensure FDA/USDA compliance, labeling, allergen controls, and recall readiness.
• Lead R&D and culinary teams from concept to commercialization; tests and panels.
• Direct recipe testing, formulation trials, and sensory/tasting panels.
• Manage SKU performance, flavor consistency, cost/margin impact, shelf-life.
• Build scalable stage-gate process for innovation from ideation to launch.
• Build and lead the Quality, Compliance, and Innovation team; manage budget and KPIs.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and represent Randstad in customer/international discussions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certified SQF Practitioner, leading GFSI, FDA, USDA, customer, and third‑party audits.
