Position Overview

kdc/one is currently growing, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Quality to support our Ohio manufacturing sites. As part of the kdc/one network, we are a leading producer of beauty and personal care products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continually improve the quality assurance program at the assigned site, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Foster a quality-centric culture at the sites, partnering with Operations to enhance quality standards across the organization.
• Act as the primary quality contact between the Ohio sites, customers, and regulatory agencies; communicate and resolve quality issues effectively.
• Escalate critical issues to senior leadership as per corporate standards.
• Strengthen the company's Quality Management System and documentation, especially CAPA, to improve product quality and client satisfaction.
• Establish and lead the Quality Department structure, including training and education on GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain Quality KPIs and report metrics to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOPs at all sites.
• Manage and lead the activities of the Quality Department to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Train, coach, and develop department employees to meet performance standards and objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g., cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, biologics), preferably in contract manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
