Job summary

Lilly in Huntsville, Alabama is building a state-of-the-art QC laboratories facility to support GMP manufacturing and the growing pipeline. The Sr. Director will provide leadership for analytical laboratories and drive new modalities transfer and center of excellence.

The role requires extensive experience in analytical testing, quality systems, and regulatory submissions, with the ability to lead large teams across global networks and ensure successful startup into GMP operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology, engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years supporting complex analytical testing in GMP environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-quality organization in support of Quality Laboratory Operations.
• Maintain GMP compliance across laboratory operations.
• Lead digital, paperless lab initiatives and future vision.
• Collaborate with Global Quality Laboratories and QC Operations.
• Ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
