Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Senior Director to lead provider network performance and communications. The role is remote with required travel to NY offices, supporting providers and promoting quality care at lower costs.

You will guide education efforts, establish enterprise metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to strengthen provider engagement. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in business or healthcare administration with 8+ years in provider relations or contracting, plus

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field required.
• 8+ years of provider relations or contracting experience, preferably in a managed care or Medicaid environment.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training and managing performance of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provider network performance and communications to improve quality and access at lower costs.
• Oversee provider satisfaction programs and reporting tools in partnership with leaders across the enterprise.
• Oversee communication and training to providers on products, services, and tools.
• Develop enterprise metrics and reporting tools to support quality and cost improvement activities.
• Develop and implement plans to deploy provider engagement model across corporate areas and health plans.
• Oversee implementation of provider education materials and monitor policies and procedures.
• Partner with Credentialing, PDM, Contracting, Shared Services to ensure accuracy of provider data.
• Direct resolution of complex provider projects including direct communication with providers.
