UC Riverside is seeking a Senior Director of Development for UCR Health to lead the fundraising program and act as principal counsel on philanthropy to the CEO. The role focuses on six- and seven-figure gifts, portfolio management, and cross-unit collaboration to align donor engagement with campus priorities.

Candidates will manage a top prospects portfolio, partner with deans and leaders to translate priorities into fundable opportunities, and travel as needed for donor engagements and events.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of fundraising donor relations, and public relations concepts.
• Expert knowledge of location and higher education/healthcare issues and goals.
• Expert organizational, analytical, and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead unit development programs and set strategy with unit heads.
• Build donor pipeline; manage portfolio to meet annual visit and gift targets.
• Personally secure six- and seven-figure gifts and align major gifts with campaigns.
• Travel for donor visits and university-related business as required.
