Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, seeks an experienced Behavioral Health nursing leader to guide clinical operations across inpatient and outpatient services, in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Medical Director.

Qualifications

• BSN in nursing with a Masters (MSN, MBA, or MHA).
• Registered Nurse licensed in Ohio.
• Certification in Nursing Administration or Psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years progressive leadership in behavioral health or acute care, pediatric setting preferred.
• Experience developing programs for new Behavioral Health facilities; strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads nursing and allied health personnel in strategic directives and care activities to ensure Behavioral Health achieves best outcomes in patient and family care.
• Leads multi and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based inpatient and outpatient clinical programs, policies, and standards for Behavioral Health for pediatric patients having emotional, behavioral and developmental problems.
• Develops and implements continuous performance improvement initiatives focused on improving the management and experience for patients, families and staff across Behavioral Health.
• Represents Behavioral Health nursing, allied health personnel and perspective in organizational discussions and meetings.
• Plans, oversees implementation, evaluates and modifies the clinical care activities for the Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion to assure excellence in the delivery of care and service.
