Key Responsibilities
Practice Support:
- Partner with practice leaders to evaluate and improve daily operations
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Marketing to resolve issues, track progress, and ensure hospital needs are met
- Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design practical solutions
- Use reporting and data analysis to support recommendations
- Provide support during new hospital openings by assisting with onboarding, system setup, workflow development, and troubleshooting as needed
Leadership Projects & Reporting:
- Manage operations projects on behalf of the Nightingale leadership team
- Support cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency, growth, and consistency across the hospital network
- Develop reports and presentations that translate operational data into actionable insights
- Track hospital and project performance metrics to support decision-making
- Partner with Finance, HR, Marketing, and Facilities to align hospital needs with broader organizational goals
Qualifications
Education:
- Advanced education or certifications such as MBA, MHA, DVM or CVPM are a plus
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years Leadership experience in veterinary hospital operations, healthcare administration, or related industries such as healthcare technology, consulting, or practice management service firms
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong track record of driving operational improvement and managing complex projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations, reporting decks)
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with veterinary software such as ezyVet, VetRadar, or other EMR/PACS systems
- Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning to execution, with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, client experience initiatives, or veterinary practice management software
- Formal training or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
- Background in healthcare or veterinary practice launches or operational expansions

- The salary range for this role is: $150,000-$180,000. This salary range represents our target hiring range for this role. The proposed salary will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies
