Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Akron, OH is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the clinical team and ensure the highest quality of care for residents. You will inspire and manage operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with families, physicians and other providers to coordinate personalized care.

You will leverage your leadership skills to build strong relationships, oversee clinical services, and drive resident and family satisfaction within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Possess a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Driver's license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with clinical leadership preferred.
• Proficiency with technology, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical services for a more complex community.
• Supervise and provide leadership to licensed nurses and direct care staff.
• Lead clinical leadership team (up to five members) as needed.
• Build relationships with residents, families, physicians and other providers to coordinate care.
