Job summary

San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) seeks a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function and partner with the Executive Team on workforce strategy. This role drives talent, compensation, benefits, and policy across the organization.

Based in Downtown San Francisco with a hybrid schedule, the incumbent will report to executive leadership and guide organizational design, leadership development, and workforce risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of HR experience with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience leading HR through organizational change and growth.
• SPHR, SHRM-SCP or equivalent certification; strong knowledge of CA and federal employment law.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR function and report to the Executive Team.
• Set HR strategy, roadmap, and quarterly reviews.
• Counsel executives on workforce strategy and design.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and salary structures.
• Direct HR policy development and HR technology strategy.
