Overview
CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced Senior Director of eDiscovery for a large government project. This position leads the electronic discovery team within the Government, supporting professionals in litigation and e-discovery processes, including project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaison with third-party vendors.
Base pay range
$161,279.04/yr - $232,958.61/yr

Responsibilities
- Provide project management and leadership for eDiscovery activities on government projects.
- Oversee Electronically Stored Information (ESI) intake, data analysis, early case assessment, and document production.
- Assist with liaison and coordination with third-party vendors; maintain relationships with current vendors.
- Manage administrative functions related to litigation support software and eDiscovery databases (e.g., database creation, data import/export, searching, OCR, coding, and document productions).
- Process and publish electronically stored information for cases; assist in preparation of documents and exhibits for trial.
- Maintain chain of custody and tracking documentation for media and data received or produced.
- Contribute to internal process development, including workflows and documentation.
- Work overtime hours, including nights and/or weekends, on a per-project basis as needed.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and collaborate with legal teams (General Counsel, Attorneys, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistants).
- Troubleshoot technical issues within the eDiscovery platform and保持 knowledge of best practices and evolving regulations through training and certification.
- Develop and maintain relationships with eDiscovery vendors.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes, procedures, and practices.
- 7+ years of experience in a litigation support, electronic discovery and/or technology support environment (government experience preferred, but experience in law firms or top eDiscovery vendors acceptable).
- Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity; end-user support across Litigation Support applications and training.
- Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO and other eDiscovery software platforms.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a favorable Public Trust Clearance.
- Relativity Certified Administrator Certification is a plus.
