Senior Director Of eDiscovery

Employment Type: Full Time, Executive Level

Department: eDiscovery and Litigation

Contact Government Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Director of eDiscovery for a large government project. This role involves leading an electronic discovery team, supporting litigation processes, managing projects, handling Electronically Stored Information (ESI), data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and coordinating with third-party vendors.

Skills and attributes for success:
  • Manage litigation support software and databases, including creation, maintenance, importing, searching, exporting, scanning, OCR, coding, and document production.
  • Assist in preparing trial documents and exhibits.
  • Log and track incoming media, maintain chain of custody, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Develop internal processes and workflows.
  • Work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work with legal teams and vendors.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within eDiscovery platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with eDiscovery vendors.
  • Be self-motivated and proactive in shaping the department's future.
  • Learn new eDiscovery platforms quickly.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of litigation lifecycle and eDiscovery processes.
  • 7+ years in litigation support, eDiscovery, or technology support, preferably within the government, law firm, or eDiscovery vendors.
  • Experience with Relativity as an Administrator and Case Manager.
  • Support end-users on Litigation Support applications and training.
  • Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO, and similar platforms.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a favorable Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred:
  • Relativity Certified Administrator Certification.
