The role reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement and focuses on securing multi-million commitments to support UT Knoxville priorities. Based in Knoxville or an approved Mid-Atlantic market, this position requires strategic fundraising leadership, travel, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• 8+ years of major gifts fundraising experience with success securing six- to seven-figure commitments.
• Experience in a comprehensive campaign environment and donor portfolio management.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; driving record considerations apply.

Responsibilities

• Secure $3–5M annually to advance university priorities.
• Lead regional fundraising efforts as the Mid-Atlantic representative.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for major gifts.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and advancement colleagues; maintain accurate donor records.
