The Senior Director of Advancement Systems & Analytics ( ASA ) is a senior‑level leader responsible for setting and executing the enterprise vision for advancement technology, data, and analytics in support of Medical & Healthcare Advancement ( MHA ). Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement Administration, this role provides strategic direction and operational oversight for the systems, data governance, reporting, and analytical capabilities that underpin fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship across Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine.
As a trusted strategic partner to MHA , member affiliates, DH IT and Geisel Computing, DH and Geisel Finance, Dartmouth College Advancement, and institutional leadership, the Senior Director ensures that advancement information systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational policies, architecture, and priorities. This role elevates data as a strategic asset, fostering a culture in which insights are accessible, actionable, and trusted, enabling leaders and frontline fundraisers to make informed decisions and drive philanthropic impact. In a period of rapid organizational growth, the Senior Director plays a critical role in leading change management efforts across MHA , establishing scalable governance, policies, and business processes that support expansion while maintaining consistency, compliance, and operational discipline.
The Senior Director leads a multidisciplinary team spanning advancement systems, analytics, and reporting, including oversight of the Associate Director of Gift Recording who leads the Gift Recording team. Through this reporting relationship, the Senior Director provides strategic guidance for gift processing, records management, financial reconciliation, and downstream advancement operations that depend on high‑quality data, strong internal controls, and reliable systems. Through thoughtful governance, collaboration, and innovation, the role balances long‑term strategy with operational excellence in a complex, distributed environment.
