Job summary

Nuveen seeks a Client Portfolio Manager (Municipal) to support municipal fixed income products and client portfolios for a diverse base of high-net-worth and retail clients in Chicago. You will act as the product expert and SME for Nuveen's municipal solutions, collaborating with investment and distribution teams to address client inquiries and optimize portfolio implementations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in capital markets with Series 7 and Series 63 licenses or ability to obtain within 180 days of start date.
Preferred 5+ years of experience in capital markets with fixed income products or municipal strategies.
Strong communication skills, including presenting to clients in person and virtually.
University degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound account-level inquiries concerning portfolio holdings, performance, attribution, and macro/fixed income environment.
Create, analyze, and review prospective client portfolios and communicate implementation details.
Maintain relationships with Portfolio Managers, Research, and Trading teams regarding portfolio information.
Support Marketing content accuracy related to municipal products.
Participate in client and prospective client calls and presentations as a municipal fixed income subject matter expert.
Collaborate with Sales to support asset-raising efforts and address inquiries.
