Job summary

BrightStar Care seeks a Senior Director of Marketing Technology & Operations to lead our technology, data, digital platforms, and integrations that power marketing across the franchise network.

This hands-on leader will set strategy, drive the MarTech roadmap, and ensure strong connections across HubSpot, our EHR, call tracking, and other platforms to deliver reliable, validated data for better investment decisions. Hybrid work and up to 20% travel offered.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in marketing technology, technical marketing operations, or digital platform leadership.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot expertise.
  • Experience integrating CRM or marketing automation platforms with operational and revenue systems to support marketing attribution.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, data flows, and validation, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and evaluate work delivered by vendors and engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics, tagging, and conversion tracking.
  • Experience leading website/CMS initiatives and technical SEO, with the understanding of visibility in AI-powered search.
  • Experience implementing AI or automation workflows with measurable results.
  • Strong vendor management, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to resolve dependencies and drive work to completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing technology roadmap, architecture, integrations, and vendor performance.
  • Own and improve integrations across marketing and business systems so we can connect marketing activity to client and revenue outcomes.
  • Establish data standards, validation processes, and ongoing monitoring to ensure accurate, consistent reporting. Partner with Technology and vendors to maintain reliable data connections as our systems evolve.
  • Lead HubSpot strategy and administration, including automation, lead routing, lifecycle management, reporting, and scalable franchise owner onboarding and training. Measure meaningful adoption by location.
  • Oversee our corporate website and local digital presence, including technical SEO, visibility in AI-powered search, site performance, analytics, and support for conversion optimization.
  • Own marketing tracking across GA4, Google Tag Manager, forms, call tracking, and campaign reporting.
  • Manage marketing privacy tools, including Freshpaint, in partnership with Legal, Privacy, and Technology.
  • Identify and implement AI and automation solutions that improve efficiency and quality, with measurable results.
  • Lead and develop the MarTech team while partnering across Marketing, Technology, Finance, and other functions.

Location: Candidates located within reasonable commuting distance of Bannockburn, IL, including the greater Chicago and Milwaukee areas | Hybrid, generally 1–2 days/week in office

Reports to: SVP, Marketing and Growth

The Opportunity BrightStar Care is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Technology & Operations to lead the technology, data, digital platforms, and integrations that power marketing performance across our franchise network. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can set strategy while also getting into the details. You’ll lead our MarTech roadmap and ensure strong connections across HubSpot, our proprietary electronic health record system, call tracking, and other platforms. Your work will ensure we have reliable, validated data to understand marketing attribution and support better investment decisions. You’ll also strengthen our website and local digital presence, drive franchise owner adoption of HubSpot, and implement practical AI and automation solutions.

Compensation & Work Environment

Salary Range: $150,000–$190,000 annually

The salary range listed reflects theanticipatedbase salary for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and other job-related considerations.

Base salary is onecomponentof our overall compensation package, which may also include performance-based incentives, benefits, paid time off, and other offerings depending on the position and eligibility.

This position is hybrid (1-2 days/week in the Bannockburn, IL office) and requires up to 20% travel for strategic meetings, industry conferences, and BrightStar Care franchise events.
