Day in the Life
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of M&A, joint venture, and de novo development opportunities in alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess target geographies, industry trends, and prospective partners.

  • Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and business case development to support acquisition and de novo initiatives.

  • Prepare high-impact materials, including investment memoranda, pitch decks, and board-level presentations.

  • Manage the deal pipeline and tracking process, ensuring timely follow-ups with potential partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead transaction due diligence efforts in coordination with finance, legal, operations, and integration teams.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with health system executives, provider leaders, and other strategic partners.

  • Contribute to strategic planning activities, including growth reporting, performance tracking, and pipeline updates.

  • Represent Business Development in cross-functional forums, ensuring alignment between strategic growth objectives and operational execution.

Location
  • Remote with 30% travel as needed.

Education and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare business development, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity.

  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across stakeholders.

  • Highly organized and experienced at managing multiple projects, priorities, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
