DoorDash is seeking a Senior Director, IT Internal Audit to shape and lead the global IT audit function. You will define strategy, oversee assurance activities across IT controls, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI governance in a fast‑paced tech environment.

You will partner with technology and security leaders, build a high‑performing, distributed team, and drive risk‑based audits balancing compliance with innovation to support DoorDash’s growth globally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in internal IT audit or risk management within global tech environments.
• Deep technical expertise in IT controls, ITGC, data governance, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, AI/ML risks.
• Hands-on leader capable of operationalizing IT compliance initiatives and governance.
• Experience overseeing cross-functional system implementations with enterprise control frameworks.
• Familiarity with automation, analytics, and emerging tech risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a forward-looking IT Internal Audit strategy aligned with business goals and tech roadmap.
• Lead global IT SOX program and governance with external auditors and Audit Committee.
• Shape AI and ML audit strategy focusing on model risk, data ethics, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee data governance, privacy, and information integrity audits across the enterprise.
• Lead and develop a global team of IT and cybersecurity auditors; manage co-source partners.
