Job summary

Unite America is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Communications & Investor Experience to lead investor messaging, narrative development, and editorial standards within the Investor Relations team. This role partners with leadership, frontline fundraisers, and finance to translate complex ideas into compelling donor materials and events.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and strong people manager, capable of building scalable workflows, coaching executives, and applying AI

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in nonprofit or for-profit communications, investor relations, fundraising communications, philanthropic marketing, public affairs, events, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication with strong editorial judgment.
• Experience creating collateral and/or experiences for sophisticated investor/donor audiences.
• Experience supporting senior executives in external communications.

Responsibilities

• Define, craft, and refine Unite America’s cross-partisan narrative and value proposition for investors.
• Establish and maintain high editorial standards, ensuring consistency with the narrative and the polish of investor-facing materials.
• Work with the Investor Experience team to maintain a library of foundational materials (case statement, pitch deck, 2-page summary, annual investor report, talking points).
• Lead event strategy and oversee execution of in-person and virtual investor events.
