Aegon Asset Management (Aegon AM) is a global investment manager overseeing $384 billion in assets across four investment platforms.

Position Overview

As a member of the Intermediary Distribution team, you will proactively establish and maintain business relationships with registered investment advisors (RIA), family offices (FO), and mutual fund sub‑advisors (MFSA) to drive product sales.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of AAM products within a defined geographic territory through development and expansion of business relationships.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of varying RIA, FO, and MFSA business models to design tailored sales strategies.
  • Produce expected sales results and territory activity levels as defined by senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with sales and client service professionals, portfolio managers, research analysts, product specialists, and marketing associates.
  • Position and differentiate AAM products against competitor firms and products.
  • Maintain a log of activities and opportunities in the Salesforce system.
  • Keep abreast of ongoing developments in the economy and the financial services industry.
  • Manage data privacy risks and ensure compliance with company policy regarding the processing of personal and other sensitive data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related business field.
  • Ten years of related sales experience.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses (required to be obtained within 120 days of hire; continued employment may be contingent on obtaining licenses within 180 days).
  • In‑depth intermediary investment product knowledge.
  • Proven results using a consultative sales process.
  • Broad range of client contacts.
  • Highly developed relationship‑management skills.
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in documenting activities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑energy, collaborative, and competitive environment.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
Compensation

The salary for this position generally ranges between $142,000 and $150,000 annually. The role is typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan and individual performance. Compensation may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
