Job summary

Cell Signaling Technology in Danvers, MA seeks a Sr. Director for Assay and Platform Technologies to define and execute the immunoassay platform strategy, guiding four sub-teams from concept to commercial success. You will shape roadmaps, governance, and collaboration with R&D, BD, and customer-facing teams.

The role requires a Ph.D. with a strong publications record and 10+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ in people management.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in a relevant life science discipline with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
Minimum of 10 years related experience with 8+ years of direct people management experience.
Experience leading platform product development from concept through commercial launch.
Experience at the R&D/Commercial interface (tools, diagnostics, or biopharma services).
Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI-enabled scientific tools into research workflows.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead four immunoassay platform sub-teams and manage portfolio health across teams.
Define and execute platform strategy with roadmaps spanning traditional and emerging immunoassays.
Govern product pipeline and govern platform onboarding and resource allocation decisions.
Collaborate with antibody & protein technologies, discovery, validation, and custom solutions teams.
Drive adoption of new assays for pre/post-sales engagement and customer outcomes.
Manage talent: leadership development, succession planning, and IC growth.
