Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Senior Director of Operational Art to lead the creation of production-ready artwork, color separations, and embellishment specifications for licensed sportswear and jerseys across domestic and global manufacturing partners.

This role partners with Merchandising, Graphic Design, Product Development, Licensing, and Sourcing to ensure artwork is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with brand and league requirements for the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, NCAA,

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in production art, apparel graphics, licensed products, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive leadership experience within apparel or licensed-product organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with screen printing, heat transfer, embroidery, twill, sublimation, and other decoration techniques.
• Experience with global teams, vendors, or manufacturing partners across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-art workflows across regions and partners for licensed sportswear and jerseys.
• Ensure all artwork, color separations, and embellishment specs comply with licensing requirements.
• Oversee the production-sample pipeline from concept to delivery, including prototypes and testing.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Design to align on sample intent, methods, and feasibility.
