Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience in complex global organizations.
  • Significant experience serving as a senior HRBP supporting executive leadership teams.
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary HR organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed HR teams and enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in labor relations, collective bargaining, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategy, culture, labor relations, employee relations, and organizational transformation.
  • Lead labor relations strategy including collective bargaining and administration, and resolve complex employee relations issues and labor issues.
  • Oversee organizational design, workforce planning, talent initiatives, change management, succession planning, leadership development, and culture strategies.
  • Develop and implement global HR strategies, governance, and compliance frameworks with Legal, Ethics, Compliance and Labor Relations teams to manage risk.
  • Drive HR metrics, process improvements, and workforce insights to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Lead and develop a global HR team of ~25 professionals, setting direction and fostering a high-performing culture.

Senior Director, Global Human Resources Business Partner

Atmus Filtration Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), located in Nashville, TN. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior Supply Chain and Global Functions and a key member of the HR leadership team. This role leads the development and execution of talent, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, labor relations, workforce planning, culture, and engagement strategies that enable business growth, operational excellence, and organizational performance. There is a 25% travel requirement, and this is an onsite with flexibility role (3 days a week in office).

Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategy, culture, labor relations, employee relations, and organizational transformation. Partner with business leaders to align human resources strategies, policies, and programs with current and future business objectives.

Employee Experience, Culture & Engagement

Lead the company's labor and employee relations strategy, including collective bargaining, contract negotiations and administration, labor-management relations, and resolution of complex employee relations issues and labor issues.

Organizational Design & Capability Building

Lead organizational design, workforce planning, talent initiatives, organizational change, succession planning, leadership development, and culture strategies to strengthen organizational capability and effectiveness.

Lead talent management, succession planning, leadership assessment, workforce planning, and leadership development strategies to attract, develop, engage, and retain critical talent.

Lead the development and implementation of global HR strategies, policies, governance and compliance frameworks while partnering with Legal, Ethics, Compliance, and Labor Relations teams to manage organizational risk.

Performance Management & Operational Excellence

Lead initiatives that improve organizational performance and workforce productivity through HR metrics, continuous improvement, process optimization, and actionable workforce insights.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a global HR team of approximately 25 professionals, establishing strategic direction, building organizational capability, driving performance, and fostering a high-performing culture.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or related field required.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Organizational Psychology, or related discipline preferred.
Experience
  • 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience in complex global organizations.
  • Significant experience serving as a senior Human Resources Business Partner supporting executive leadership teams.
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary HR organizations.
