Capital One seeks a Senior Director, Full-stack Engineer to lead multiple product-focused software teams within Shopping Tech, with a remote-eligible work arrangement. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 7 years of people management experience.
At least 9 years of software engineering and solution architecture.
At least 9 years of cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
At least 9 years of data architecture experience.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product‑focused software engineers.
Shape long-term technical strategy and architecture standards for enterprise platforms.
Partner with senior engineering and business leaders to align roadmaps with scalable technology capabilities.
Drive talent strategy, ensuring succession planning, skill development, and equitable opportunity across engineering teams.
Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team.
Lead deployment of applications into AWS environments.
