Electronic Arts in California is seeking a Sr. Finance Director to lead FP&A for Shooters & ARPG portfolios.

You will act as embedded advisor to Studio & Franchise teams, shaping strategic financial plans and driving profitability across the portfolio. With 12+ years in finance leadership, you will build a high-performing FP&A team, manage P&L across multiple businesses, and partner with senior leaders to deliver actionable insights and long-range planning in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in senior-level roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using modern ERP and FP&A planning platforms.
  • Experience utilizing AI and technology solutions to improve financial processes, analytics and decision-making.

Role Overview:

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic and financialpartnershipto EA’s Leadership team. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to influence and help deliver our broad strategy, providing strategic decision support and insights to guide EA’s performance.You will work a hybrid work model defined as 3 days a week in an EA office.

This Sr. Finance Directorwill lead business support for our Shooters & Action Role-Playing Games (ARPG) portfolio, serving as:

  • An embedded and trusted senior advisor to Studio & Franchise businesses& teams; and
  • An experienced & demonstrated leader in the Global Finance organization, contributing to strategic functional initiatives and transformation.

Supported by a team of ~10 employees, you will report to theVice-President of FP&A, EA Studios, while partnering closely with Shooters / ARPG leadership.

Responsibilities

You will partner with senior leaders across the business, including our SVP / General Managers, Heads of Operations & Publishing, Executive Producers and theirleadership teams to support all financial elements associated with the successful execution ofour Shooters / ARPGstrategies.

  • Business Partnership:
  • Partner closely with studio /franchise leaders to drive the business and ongoing value creation & profitable growth. Provide actionable insights with a lens towards strategic execution and return on investments.
  • Manage the holistic health of our various & collective businesses, including full P&L responsibility.
  • Lead the financial planning process, including the long-range, annual, and in-year planning cycles.Partner cross-functionally to develop& manage operating metrics that support financial planning.
  • Establish and track performance measurements across all majorofferingsand projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial and decision support analysis in service of strategies & performance.
  • Serve as a leadership partner on behalf of Shooters/ ARPG FP&A with other Finance teams / disciplines, including Enterprise & Experiences FP&A, Finance Transformation, Controllership.
  • Organizational Leadership:
  • Lead the team responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes across Shooters / ARPG, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute meaningfully at a leadership level to recurring, key Finance initiatives to evolve and improve our organization & impact.

Compensation And Benefits

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$215,900 - $327,900 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
