Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Inventory Management at its Tampa facility. You will establish vision strategy, governance and operating disciplines to drive inventory excellence across Coke Florida.

You will lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on inventory productivity, accuracy, customer service performance and supply chain effectiveness while developing the organizational capabilities needed to achieve current company goals and support future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• 10+ years in leadership across supply chain, inventory, planning or logistics.
• Proven success leading enterprise inventory strategies.
• Experience building governance structures and performance routines.
• CPG/beverage or high-volume distribution background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise inventory strategy aligned with objectives and financial priorities.
• Provide leadership for enterprise inventory organization including directors, managers, planners.
• Establish inventory operating model, governance, policies and decision-making framework.
• Define performance expectations and accountability across the network.
• Standardize processes while allowing flexibility to meet ops needs.
• Lead inventory investment strategies to maximize effectiveness and service.
• Drive analytics and business planning for inventory management.
• Optimize turns, safety stock, deployment and replenishment efficiency.
• Partner with Commercial Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation and Distribution to maximize availability and OTIF.
• Reduce out-of-stocks through improved forecasting and inventory positioning.
• Own inventory performance across all locations; establish scorecards and dashboards.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, working capital, days of supply and shrink.
• Provide executive reporting on performance and risk.
• Develop enterprise technology and automation roadmap; evaluate SAP/Blue Yonder/WMS and related tools.

Coke Florida is searching for a Senior Director, Enterprise Inventory Management to work out of our Tampa facility.

What You Will Do:

As the Senior Director, Enterprise Inventory Management, you will establish the vision strategy, governance and operating disciplines that drive inventory excellence across Coke Florida. You will lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on inventory productivity, inventory accuracy, customer service performance and supply chain effectiveness while developing the organizational capabilities needed to achieve current company goals and support future growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the enterprise inventory strategy aligned with organizational objectives, customer requirements and financial priorities
• Provide leadership and direction for enterprise inventory organization including, but not limited to, Inventory Director, Inventory Managers, Planners and Control Assistants
• Establish the inventory operating model, governance structure, policies, standards and decision-making framework across the network
• Define enterprise inventory performance expectations and accountability mechanisms
• Ensure inventory processes and practices are standardized while allowing flexibility to meet operational requirements
• Serve as the enterprise authority and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on inventory strategy, inventory controls, inventory governance and performance.
• Lead enterprise inventory investment strategies designed to maximize effectiveness while supporting service commitments
• Drive responsible inventory investment decisions through advanced analytics and business planning
• Optimize:

• Ensure inventory strategies support superior customer service outcomes across the business
• Partner with Commercial Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation and Distribution Teams to maximize:

• Reduce out-of-stocks through improved forecasting, inventory positioning and network execution
• Own inventory performance across all inventory locations throughout the network
• Establish enterprise scorecards, dashboards and performance review routines

• Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations regarding inventory performance, risk exposure and optimization opportunities
• Establish and maintain work-class inventory controls and governance practices

• Develop and execute the enterprise inventory technology and automation roadmap
• Evaluate and implement solutions that enhance visibility, accuracy, and operation effectiveness including:
• Automated inventory management systems
• Advanced analytics platforms
• Automated counting technology
• Drones and Vision Systems
• Warehouse automation technology
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts that eliminate inventory-related issues and improve overall network performance
• Drive alignment between inventory strategy and broader supply chain business objectives
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies to remove waste and improve inventory performance
• Benchmark industry-leading practices while continuously elevating inventory management capabilities

Education and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics or related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across supply chain, inventory management, planning, logistics, warehouse or distribution functions
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise inventory strategies and large-scale inventory optimization initiatives
• Experience leading multi-site or enterprise-wide supply chain functions
• Proven success managing inventory performance and working capital
• Experience building governance structures, operating standards and performance management routines company-wide

Additional qualifications that will strengthen your candidacy:

• MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
• Experience working in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) Beverage, Food Manufacturing, or High-Volume Distribution environments
• Previous experience working with a Coca-Cola Bottler
