Job summary

Mars United Commerce in the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Ecommerce to create impact and help clients navigate the fast-changing Ecommerce landscape. Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in Ecommerce, Digital Commerce, Digital Shelf
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field
  • Experience with regulated categories – Rx, Pharma, OTC, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze results, synthesize data, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Decision-making in agency and client settings with industry knowledge
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across audiences
  • Cross-functional teamwork and proactive work ethic
  • Desire to drive growth and improvements

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable strategic solutions positioning the agency as a best-in-class Digital Shelf partner
  • Lead a team of experts to strategize, execute and measure solutions for digital shelf effectiveness
  • Conduct marketplace assessments, audits, insights, product launch support, keyword research, SEO/AEO, and content health
  • Lead workshops and reviews to influence investment decisions
  • Advance commerce capabilities including AI visibility and governance frameworks
  • Evaluate and maximize commerce tech partners and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on catalog operations and content health
  • Manage projects to meet budgets and P&L goals
  • Identify incremental growth opportunities through retailer assessments and audits

We’re looking for aSenior Director,Ecommerceto create impact and help our clients navigate the dynamic, fast-changingEcommercelandscape.This role ownsstrategic client relationships, serving as the seniorEcommerce lead and trusted advisor responsible for driving client satisfaction, business growth, and long-term partnership success.This requires understanding emerging areas ofEcommerceand incorporating those insights into strategic recommendations across theEcommerceecosystem.This role will have 1-2 direct reports.


Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Atlanta or New York offices for a hybrid work schedule.


Responsibilities

The Sr. Director willengage with clients as the strategic Digital Shelf lead on their business:



  • Develop customizable, yet scalable strategic solutions that positionour agencyas a best-in-class Digital Shelf partner for our clients.

  • Lead a team of functional experts to strategize, execute and measure solutions that are focused on ensuring digital shelf content effectiveness and end-to-end digital shelf support is optimized to enable a connected, seamless shopper experience for our clients’ brands and products.

  • Core functions include marketplace assessments, full-scale audits, competitive insights, new product launch support, keyword research, SEO- and AEO-optimized copy development, evergreen and seasonal content development, product data management, and content healthanalysis.

  • Lead executive workshops, business reviews, capability showcases, and educational programs that elevate client knowledge and influence strategic investment decisions.

  • Lead emerging commerce capabilities including Agentic Commerce, AI visibility, AI search optimization, and governance frameworks that help brands win across AI-powered discovery environments.

  • Evaluate, implement, and maximize commerce technology partners and platforms including content optimization, syndication, analytics, AI visibility, and digital shelf measurement solutions.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive catalog operations, syndication governance, product information management, and content health programs that improve discoverability, conversion, and operational efficiency across retailers.

  • Manage projects towards client budgets, internal billing expectations and P&L goals.

  • Identify and develop incremental growth opportunities through retailer assessments, AI/agentic commerce consulting, audits, workshops, operational optimization, and emerging commerce capabilities.

  • Provide ongoing thought leadership both internally and externally.

  • Experience with regulated categories – Rx, Pharma, OTC,etc

Compensation Range: USD $129,485.00 - USD $207,324.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
