Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr Director, Product Management (PXDP65) to lead telemetry strategy across the developer experience. You will define data collection boundaries, partner with Engineering, ML, Cyber, and Enterprise Data to build data products, dashboards, and cost-optimization mechanisms while upholding privacy and security principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 7 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience translating complex data strategy and business analysis into actionable data products or developer-facing tools.
• Deep expertise in SDLC metrics, developer productivity tools, or AI/ML evaluation frameworks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives and technical engineering partners.

Responsibilities

• Define telemetry strategy balancing data capture with privacy and security.
• Lead DevX Telemetry workstream and build data products for developers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, ML, Cyber, and Enterprise Data to deliver dashboards.
• Measure outcomes like flow, quality, developer experience, ROI, and compliance.
• Balance risk and value of captured data across streams.
