Job summary

Oracle Corporation in the United States seeks a Sr. Director of Design Quality & Reliability for OCI Data Center Infrastructure. Build and scale the function, define strategy, and lead a multidisciplinary team spanning reliability engineering, supplier quality, and design assurance.

The role partners with Construction, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, Operations, and strategic suppliers to achieve aggressive reliability and lifecycle performance targets in hyperscale data centers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in quality, reliability engineering, critical infrastructure, manufacturing quality, or related technical leadership roles.
• 7+ years leading large-scale engineering or quality organizations.
• Experience building or transforming quality and reliability programs in hyperscale infrastructure, cloud, semiconductor, power systems, telecom, or mission-critical environments.
• Deep expertise in reliability engineering methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
• Proven experience with supplier quality management and complex hardware ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead OCI Data Center Infrastructure Design Quality & Reliability organization.
• Develop strategy, operating model, governance, metrics, and execution roadmap for the function.
• Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team across reliability engineering, supplier quality, design assurance and validation.
• Define processes and standards for quality and reliability across the infrastructure lifecycle.
• Drive reliability requirements in designs to meet performance, maintainability, and lifecycle targets.
• Establish data-driven processes to implement design, component, or supplier changes for quality improvements.
• Provide executive-level reporting on reliability performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
