CodePath is hiring a Senior Director of Curriculum for a 100% remote role within the United States. You will define long-term curriculum strategy, own the product roadmap, and lead a small high-impact team.
Responsibilities span from course portfolio governance to cross-functional collaboration with Learning, Engineering, and Employer Partnerships to ensure rigorous, industry-aligned delivery. The role emphasizes AI-native software engineering education, modular curriculum architecture, and
This role is 100% remote within the United States, which is a firm geographic constraint — you must be U.S.-based. This rules out long‑term slow travel to international nomad hotspots unless you maintain a U.S. address and comply with tax residency requirements.
That said, within the U.S., the position offers genuine location flexibility. CodePath has standardized salaries regardless of where you live domestically, so relocating between lower- and higher-cost U.S. cities is financially advantageous. At $165K–$239K total compensation, your dollar stretches significantly in cities like Austin, TX, Asheville, NC, or Boise, ID compared to San Francisco or New York.
Schedule flexibility: The posting doesn't specify rigid core hours, and the role involves asynchronous curriculum development alongside cross-functional meetings. However, as a Senior Director reporting to the CPO and collaborating across teams, expect regular synchronous touchpoints during U.S. business hours — likely ET/PT overlap windows.
If you're a U.S.-based nomad traveling domestically (national parks, city-hopping), this role is well-suited. International nomading would require careful tax planning and is not officially supported by the role's U.S.-only requirement.

You will define how we prepare students to become AI-native software engineers and steward our course portfolio to support CodePath's growth from 20,000 to 100,000 students per year.
You will be successful in this role if, within your first 12–18 months, you:
