Job summary

Renuity, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Director, Corporate Accounting to lead the Corporate Accounting team and oversee consolidated financial reporting across a multi-entity structure backed by private equity.

The role drives the close process, maintains technical GAAP expertise, partners with FP&A and IT on system improvements, and manages the external audit relationship while mentoring a high-performing accounting staff. CPA required, 8+ years of progressive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, mix of public accounting and industry experience.
• Deep technical U.S. GAAP knowledge across revenue recognition, leases, fixed assets, internal-use software, cash flow classification.
• Experience managing external auditor relationships and leading complex audit engagements.
• Proven people-management experience with the ability to develop and lead a team of accounting professionals.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; comfortable with large, multi-entity data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present technical accounting matters to non-accounting stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation across a multi-entity structure.
• Own financial reporting deliverables for quarterly loan compliance.
• Oversee corporate homebase and CRM SaaS business close with FP&A.
• Prepare technical accounting summaries for CFO and executives.
• Support ERP (Acumatica) initiatives impacting general ledger and close automation.
• Manage annual external audit relationship, including planning and issue resolution.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting in a PE-backed environment.
