About the Role
The Senior Director, Commercial Advanced Analytics & Optimization leads Jazz’s next‑generation advanced analytics capability within Customer Experience Operations. The position builds and deploys predictive algorithms, AI‑driven solutions, and Voice of Customer insights to optimize go‑to‑market effectiveness, unlock new ways of working, and drive measurable business outcomes across HCPs, KOLs, HCOs and patients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale enterprise performance analytics and advanced analytics capabilities, including performance measurement, predictive modeling, and Voice of Customer‑driven insights, to drive critical business decisions and measurable impact.
- Lead and develop Team Leads, reinforcing clear decision rights, accountability, quality delivery, and performance expectations.
- Oversee the Advanced Analytics team to deliver standardized, end‑to‑end performance measurement, actionable insights, and continuous optimization across channels and portfolios.
- Oversee the Voice of Customer Ops team to turn customer needs, feedback, and experiences into clear priorities that improve how Jazz engages, supports, and delivers value to customers.
- Hold the Global Capability Owners accountable for the performance and outcomes of the Performance Optimization & Predictive Algorithms Global Capabilities, ensuring adoption, consistency, and impact of performance insights that guide enterprise prioritization and investment tradeoffs.
- Partner with the head of Customer Insights & Data on resource planning, talent strategy, and capability development to attract, develop and retain high‑performing advanced analytics talent.
- Own budget and resource allocation, making investment decisions across the team to maximize impact and performance outcomes.
- Set and evolve the team vision and strategy, aligned to Customer Insights & Data priorities and Jazz objectives.
- Translate franchise, functional, regional and customer strategies into clear priorities that guide execution across the team.
- Define and govern how integrated Advanced Analytics & Optimization capabilities mature over time, balancing near‑term execution with long‑term standardization, reuse, and scale.
- Manage strategic vendor partners with clear accountability for quality, delivery, and outcomes.
- Foster a high‑performance‑driven culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Partner closely with Activation Leads to embed business needs, readiness, enablement and adoption considerations into the team strategy and prioritization.
- Align with Activation Leads, franchise, functional and regional stakeholders, including senior leadership, to define clear priorities and balance regional differences with global standards.
- Collaborate with CX Data Tech Leads and Enterprise Data & AI Capability Leads to align on shared data infrastructure, integration standards, and AI/ML enablement, ensuring consistency across analytics platforms.
- Drive alignment across core Commercial, insights, and enabling functions to embed advanced analytics, Voice of Customer insights, and performance optimization in decision‑making.
- Represent the Advanced Analytics & Optimization team in cross‑functional forums to drive alignment and resolve dependencies.
- Lead the resolution of complex, cross‑team issues affecting performance or adoption of Advanced Analytics & Optimization global capabilities.
- Identify organizational training needs and partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver targeted capability‑building programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of omnichannel performance measurement, KPI frameworks, enterprise reporting, and cross‑channel performance analysis.
- Strong knowledge of marketing mix modeling, scenario analysis, and optimization techniques for ROI assessment.
- Ability to apply advanced analytics and predictive approaches to evaluate performance drivers and optimization opportunities.
- Proficiency in Python and R for analytics, modeling, and data engineering, including experience with cloud platforms such as Redshift and Snowflake, coding best practices, version control, and model performance evaluation.
- Experience working within Agile product development teams and product operating models.
- Experience using AI, automation, or agentic workflows to drive enterprise‑level performance optimization and decision‑making.
- Experience leading and developing a high‑performing team, including resource planning, performance management, and talent development.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, digital, healthcare, technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in performance analytics, marketing analytics, or optimization roles.
- 5+ years in pharma, with expertise in marketing mix modelling, enterprise reporting, and applying analytics to drive investment and performance decisions.
- 6–8 years of experience leading people, including managing and developing high‑performing teams and driving accountability across functions.
- Advanced degree (MBA or relevant graduate degree) preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries preferred.
- Experience working in the capability operating model.
- Experience partnering with enterprise platform teams or global capability teams supporting digital and operational capabilities.
- Experience leading and developing distributed, matrixed teams, including onshore/offshore models, with strong ability to align resources, drive accountability, and ensure consistent delivery standards.
Working Requirements
- 20–30% travel will be required.

Compensation & Benefits
FOR US‑BASED CANDIDATES ONLY
The base pay range for this role is $224,000.00 – $336,000.00. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation and discretionary equity grants under Jazz’s plans. Eligible employees may participate in benefits offerings, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, and flexible paid vacation.
