Job summary

LifeStance Health seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Practice & Therapeutic Standards to advance enterprise clinical practice standards and frameworks across service lines. You will develop scalable training resources and partner with Clinical Operations, Learning & Development, and Research to drive outcomes-oriented care.

Active leadership of clinician competency development, evidence-based practice adoption, and continuous quality improvement will be central.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree required (PhD/PsyD or equivalent).
• 8–10+ years in clinical leadership, training, or practice standards.
• Expertise in evidence-based psychotherapy modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
• Experience designing scalable clinical training, competency, and professional development programs.
• Strong ability to translate clinical evidence and outcomes into scalable standards and resources.
• Experience collaborating with clinical operations and cross-functional teams to implement care models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Define and improve enterprise therapy frameworks and clinical practice standards.
• Develop clinician competency frameworks across modalities and care models.
• Drive adoption of evidence-based practices through standardized resources and training.
• Leverage research and outcomes data to identify care improvements and reduce variation.
• Lead or mentor project teams, clinical workgroups, or collaborators as needed.
• Partner with clinical operations to implement care models and standards at scale.
• Support leadership development initiatives and clinical supervision within the organization.
