Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living seeks a Director of Clinical Services to oversee clinical programs across markets, ensuring evidence-based care in line with Medicaid, state, and federal regulations. The role coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, manages budgets, and leads crisis intervention efforts.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related field, licensure, and 3+ years of behavioral health leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Analysis, or related field.
• Licensed and credentialed to manage clinical staff; BCBA certification preferred; LPC, LCSW, or LMFT accepted.
• Minimum of three years of behavioral health leadership experience, including crisis services and supervising behavior support plans.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP of Clinical Operations to implement best-in-class clinical model.
• Lead the clinical behavioral health team and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Develop systems to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and ensure compliant care.
• Oversee acuity, staffing, service type/frequency, and safety monitoring.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including Medicaid-funded services.
• Supervise and mentor clinicians, therapists, and crisis staff.
• Conduct staff trainings on behavioral interventions and crisis management.
• Monitor budgets, Medicaid billing, and revenue generation.
• Ensure documentation meets Medicaid reimbursement requirements.
