Job Description: Lead GDIT’s Business Intelligence (BI) function to unify market signals across political, financial, acquisition, competitive, technology, and internal intelligence sources. Build a single operating model and portfolio of BI products that integrates diverse inputs into decision‑ready insights for executives and customer facing divisions, improving strategic positioning, growth, and profitability.

How The Position Will Make An Impact

• Operation: Build a Business Intelligence operation with the capability to capture market signals and integrate diverse sources of intelligence —political, financial, acquisition, competitive, technology, and internal insights— into integrated, actionable intelligence with clear strategic implications. The analysis will be used to inform and advance strategic decision making.
• Strategic planning: Provide BI to support GDIT’s established annual and/or multi-year business planning processes and outputs. Support M&A and other corporate development requirements as required.

• BI products development: Develop and maintain a standardized portfolio of executive-level Business Intelligence products that directly support the Chief Growth Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and President. The portfolio should include, but not be limited to:
  • Competitive analysis (battlecards, market positioning briefs)
  • Financial market analysis (peer comp tables, earnings language reviews)
  • Acquisition target analysis (M&A landscape, partnership signals)
  • Technology and customer acquisition trends (capability updates, sector-specific briefs)
  • Political and policy insights (administrative directives, compliance impacts)

• Market Analysis: Provide actionable market intelligence to support division strategies and P&L across Defense, Intelligence, Health, and Federal Civilian. Deliver and or create mechanisms for timely insights that inform sector and account-level business planning, tailored to each division’s needs.
• Partnership: Collaborate with matrix teams—including Government Relations, External Communications, and Acquisition—to develop integrated BI analysis and deliver strategic insights that drive business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Continuously adapt BI capabilities and analysis to meet the evolving needs of executive leadership and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and impact.
• Business Intelligence Tools and AI Capabilities: Oversee BI tools, vendors, and research partners. Leverage AI to accelerate analysis and product development, and implement processes to ensure BI outputs are clearly communicated and aligned with business needs. In addition, create mechanisms that allow BI capabilities to scale, enabling account managers to conduct independent BI analysis.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required
• Required Experience: 10+ years of experience in a corporate strategy/analysis/BI role, prior experience in working with a senior executive team to support long-range goals, strategies, plans, and requirements.
• Experience in the federal government IT services and or technology market preferred.
• Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Compensation

The likely salary range for this position is $187,179 - $215,256. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
