Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to run the Business Development Operations & Support group in Denver. You will build scalable processes, drive deal visibility, and own customer-facing planning and reporting, partnering with hyperscale and AI customers to inform strategy and investments.

You will lead a team, forge cross-functional collaboration with legal, energy, sites, and capital markets, and deliver strategic reporting for senior leadership and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
• 12+ years in business development operations, program/project management, deal management, or related commercial ops, including people management.
• Direct experience with hyperscale customers or familiarity with the data center market.
• Experience owning forecasts and reporting with financial consequences.
• Experience with CRM platforms and customer/account reporting structures.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Business Development Operations & Support group.
• Build and evolve systems, reporting, processes, and operating rhythms for deal and customer visibility.
• Own customer-facing planning and reporting, including account status, progress, next steps, and strategic plans.
• Gather and synthesize customer and market intelligence to inform site selection, pricing, market comps, and competitive analysis.
• Own forecasts and deal-status reporting that inform at-risk project investment and long lead equipment commitments.
• Develop innovative trackers, dashboards, and repeatable processes.
• Engage directly with hyperscale and AI customers.
• Build, lead, and develop the BD-OS team.
• Manage workback schedules and timeline discipline on live deals.
• Coordinate with Legal, Energy, Sites, and Capital Markets on deal-critical inputs.
• Prepare strategic reporting and approval-request materials for senior leadership, capital partners, and the board.
• Improve BD-wide operating rhythm and structure as deal volume grows.
