This leadership role reports to the VP of Technology and Innovation. The base pay range is USD $249,000 - $392,700 per year, with eligibility for discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• 15+ years’ experience in audio, with a focus on AI algorithms for multi-mic processing, AI concepts, and with 7+ years leading teams.
• Deep experience leading cross-functional teams, with experience influencing product team.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.
• Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI audio technology roadmap and architecture across MCU and MPU platforms.
• Lead development of audio DSP, AI models, and embedded software, and production-ready audio solutions.
• Drive in-house innovation, technology evaluation, IP strategy, and licensing decisions.
• Own end-to-end system integration, validation, optimization, and production readiness.
• Establish scalable validation methodologies and performance benchmarks.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver differentiated solutions.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams across AI, DSP, and audio technologies.
