Job summary

Fairfax County Government seeks a senior leader to guide preservation and redevelopment of the 3,800+ unit housing portfolio. You will oversee planning, financing, design, and relocation, coordinating with private partners and public agencies to advance affordable housing initiatives.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and present recommendations to the Board and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with law and county standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a related degree and six years of related experience.
• Experience leading planning, financing, development and construction of large projects preferred.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex preservation and redevelopment initiatives for the FCRHA portfolio.
• Manage schedules, budgets, financing structures, and development agreements.
• Coordinate with partners, consultants, and government agencies.
• Prepare briefings and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
