Job summary

Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Plainfield, IL, is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. Mealtimes provide nutrition and socialization, and our culinary team delivers flavorful, nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.

This full-time role requires weekend availability and the ability to lift 25 lbs. You will serve meals, assist with service, ensure portion control, and help with daily cleaning and tray setup.

Qualifications

Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing.
Assist in meal service in a timely and organized manner.
Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures.
Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures.
Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience.
Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed.
