Job summary

Juniper Communities seeks a Dining Services Associate to support the Community Life Team in the main dining room and neighborhoods, aiding residents to maintain independence and enjoy a quality dining experience.

Responsibilities include meal prep, tray delivery, and ensuring safety and adherence to policies. Weekend availability required for a full-time position with a starting wage of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dining services and resident care.
• Understanding of physiology and psychology of older adults.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Juniper Village philosophy and policies.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Provide dining services with a resident-centered approach.
• Follow directions from Dining Services Director and Leadership Team.
• Perform assigned tasks per schedules and policies.
• Prepare bakery, desserts, and salads per menu.
• Prepare healthy snacks and hydration carts.
• Track resident attendance and intake.
• Deliver meals and carts to residents.
• Set up meals and tables neatly and promptly.
• Plate foods according to diet and appearance.
