Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a Dietary Aide in Missouri to support dining services in skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will assist residents with meals, monitor dietary restrictions, and help set up dining rooms for service.

The role requires basic cooking skills, attention to sanitation, and the ability to follow diet orders and recipes. A Hepatitis A vaccination may be required where county health regulations apply.

Qualifications

• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with food and beverage choices meeting dietary restrictions.
• Prepare dining room for meals; set tables and maintain cleanliness.
• Serve foods at proper temperatures and on time; help with meal prep as needed.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and HACCP documentation procedures.
• Assist with cleaning tasks and waste disposal; keep dining areas clean.
