Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is scaling its marketing division to support a growing portfolio of PPC and SEO clients. As Digital Strategist, you own strategy, performance and client-facing leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and conversion optimization.

This is a hybrid strategic and operational role, joining sales calls to shape strategy, overseeing specialists, building performance roadmaps, and ensuring campaigns deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in PPC, SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4 and SEO tools.
• Ability to articulate strategic recommendations to clients and AEs.
• Track record of overseeing delivery teams and ensuring quality.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose performance issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Create 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for each client.
• Own client performance across Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical and on-page SEO, link building and AI-driven content.
• Own KPI tracking, attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and QA, align priorities with the marketing PM.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
